New Ë-C4 -100% Ëlectric, And New C4: New-Generation Citroën Hatchback Unveiled!

Citroën continues its electrification offensive in 2020, today turning its attention to the compact hatchback segment – publishing the very first images of New ë-C4 - 100% ëlectric and New C4.

A new-generation C-Hatch that shakes up the segment and adds an all-Citroën identity with:

  • Choice of powertrain: in 2020, 'Citroën goes Ëlectric for all'. New ë-C4 is the fifth electrified model to be announced in 2020 as part of Citroën’s electrification strategy – after C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid, Ami, ë-Dispatch and ë-SpaceTourer. In addition to this 100% electric version, New C4 is available in petrol or diesel, giving customers the choice to powertrain to suit their needs.

  • Strength of concept: a new silhouette that plays with several design codes, which marks the beginning of a new era of Citroën style. The elevated and assertive stance means the body shape has all the elegance and dynamism of a hatchback, while subtly adopting certain SUV traits for added strength and character.

  • Comfort on-board: all the elements of the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme, amplified by the ë-Comfort benefits of the all-electric version. Including suspension with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions®, Advanced Comfort seats, interior space and practical on-board features – including an innovation for the front passenger.

Proud heir to a line of daring compact Citroën cars, including the much-loved GS that celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. The all-electric New ë-C4 and New C4 will be presented in detail on Tuesday 30 June and will make headlines in the second half of 2020.
