Greg Taylor, Managing Director Citroën UK, said: “By introducing petrol and diesel powertrains on Berlingo and SpaceTourer, alongside our advanced electric models, we’re giving customers more choice than ever before. These vehicles play an important role for families and businesses alike, and the flexibility of efficient combustion engines with the practicality of electric options ensures there’s a Citroën solution for every need.”
In addition to the reintroduced petrol and diesel powertrains, SpaceTourer and Berlingo are also available with electric powertrains. ë-Berlingo features a 52kWh (gross capacity) battery and is capable of up to 212 miles on a single charge (WLTP combined), while ë-SpaceTourer is capable of up to 215 miles. Using a 100 kW DC rapid charger, it takes just 30 minutes for a 20-80% charge for ë-Berlingo and around 45 minutes for ë-SpaceTourer.
Both models are fitted with a new bi-directional on-board charger, supporting Vehicle-to-Load capability. Purchasing an adapter kit for the charging port allows drivers to plug in mains-powered domestic or leisure appliances and power them directly from the vehicle’s battery.
